Am feeling good today and crawling up from 2 weeks of post chemo fog. Really awful and am glad that I have 2 weeks off. See the specialist next week and we will discuss the next step.
I thought I had the chemo under control but it really sapped my immune system as well as my energy. Thank goodness I love my bed. I anticipate rounds of 3 weeks chemo and one off for up to 6 months and then that is it as far as usefulness of chemo goes. I believe it is helping and I remain positive regarding a good time span yet. So many thanks for the weekly meal, it is so welcome and I am in awe of the beautiful folk who give of their time and thoughts to support us. Lynn really appreciates the 'night off' but hopefully I will soon be up and running (shuffling?) around again. We had an awsome day on the 1st November, for our Civil Union. The Goddess smiled upon us and gave us a lovely warm and sunny day. It was good to renew our commitment to each other and truly value the partnership we have. Surrounded by the love and support of some of our friends, the atmosphere was just divine.
