Life for us goes well, I feel well most of the time and if it was not for the chemo and this lump in my tummy, I would not think I was ill.
2 more sessions of chemo after surgery and then who knows but we will live life to full and cherish every moment. I have been gliding, oh what a thrill, loved it and it was all I had dreamed. Bob, the guy who took me up, was fabulous, full of bright chat and willing to loop and dive and steep climb, wow, my stomach really felt the G 2 pull. Was just great and such a beautiful day at Paraparaumu, sun shining, light breeze and visibility for miles. Ballooning will have to be in May as I am to have surgery on the 30th March and get rid of this lump. Still do not know what tissue it is but assume it is an ovarian mass. Strange as it may seem, I am really looking forward to surgery as the lump just keeps growing slowly and is most uncomfortable. We are going to Hamilton to Mystery Creek for the A&P show in June and come home on the day train. (Both events seem to have snuck into the 'bucket' list). We are looking at campervans for September so that is still on the agenda. Lovely life when all one does is plan pleasurable things!!. Lynn still a tower of strength and plans her work life around my needs, oh am I the lucky one. She has been such a support through all this, I thank you all who have supported her as well as me over the last 10 months. Official retirement from Massey was March 1st, sad but O.K.. Cleaned out my office and it was down memory lane a bit but had a student to help me and that made it easier. Have to think of what I can do once I am up and running again. Love to all, Liz
